Easter Bunny in Disguise Writing

(0)
This is a fun Easter activity that integrates writing and a craft activity within a holiday theme. Easter Bunny in Disguise has three writing genres to choose from – Description, Narrative and Persuasion. Spring is here and the Easter Bunny is getting excited about delivering Easter gifts to all the children. But Easter Bunny is also worried about the Big Bad Wolf. The Big Bad Wolf will be hiding along the way and waiting to eat the Easter Bunny (the Wolf thinks the Easter Bunny is made of chocolate). Easter Bunny has decided to wear a disguise to fool the Big Bad Wolf. Students dress up Easter Bunny in one of the costume disguises. They can then follow this up with the opportunity to write about their disguise choice. In Descriptive Writing the students write a description of the Easter Bunny’s disguise. There is a Writing Planner for brainstorming and lined sheets for writing. In Narrative Writing the students write a story of how the Easter Bunny fooled the Big Bad Wolf by disguising itself. There is a Descriptive Writing Planner template for brainstorming and sequencing out the story. Lined sheets for writing are included. In Persuasive Writing the students brainstorm and write reasons why the Big Bag Wolf should not eat the Easter Bunny. The Persuasive Writing Brainstorm Planner Sheet provides a template for brainstorming disguise ideas. There are Brainstorm Planner Sheets provided for up to three reasons. These are available in three levels of recording – Dotted Line Basic Paper, Dotted Line Paper and Lined Paper. Six different disguise options are included; Pirate, Astronaut, Santa, Doctor, Woodcutter and Footballer. These are in various formats.
